- Because
you can only buy tickets online
for flights to and from destinations
where e-tickets are available
and where the flight is operated
only by Alitalia.
You can buy tickets for other
destinations served by Alitalia
(also via partnerships with
other airlines) through the Call Center or at Alitalia ticket offices.
- If
you are a MilleMiglia member,
you have 24 hours to confirm
the booking and buy your ticket.
In this case, you can choose
either to return to the website
and complete the purchase through your booking or use
the Self-ticketing procedure
or go to any Alitalia ticket
office. After 24 hours, unconfirmed
bookings will be removed from
the system automatically.
If you are not a MilleMiglia
member, you will have to complete
the purchase of your ticket
at the same time as you book
it, otherwise your booking will
expire immediately.
- You
can buy tickets online for a
maximum of 4 passengers (over
2 years old).
- Yes.
All you have to do is type in
your first name, family name

your details every time, you
can register with the MilleMiglia Club.
For every subsequent purchase,
you will only have to type in
your UserID (MilleMiglia code)
and your PIN (which we shall
send you by email).
- Yes,
you can. Once you have made
the purchase, just enter your

you the confirmation which is
valid as a receipt. This contains
all the relevant details of
the ticket and the purchase.
You can then print the email,
bring it with you to the airport
together with an ID document,
and get your boarding pass.
- The
website lists all the fares
that Alitalia offers. There
are two basic types, Economy
and Business, and each one includes
Standard and Promotional fares.
Economy and Business fares correspond
to two cabin classes that differ
according to the services offered.
The Business fares are for Prima
and Magnifica classes which
are available according to each
flight. On international flights,
Business fares are for Prima
class, while on intercontinental
flights, Business fares are
for Magnifica.
"Best Buy" is the term used
to refer to the lowest fare
available at that time, and
is not necessarily the cheapest
fare in general.
Each fare is subject to specific
rules that you will find in
the Fare Regulations within
the booking procedure.
In addition, it is worth remembering
that certain types of customers
(members of religious orders,
journalists, etc) are entitled
to special Alitalia fares which
can be obtained only through
the Call Center or Alitalia
ticket offices.
- The
"offer period" is the period
of time when you can purchase
the tickets.
The "use by" period is the period
of time when you can fly using
that particular fare.
